SocialMarker.com is a nifty free online bookmarking tool that automates bookmark submissions for up to 50 different websites. Unfortunately, it doesn’t completely automate the process. You still need to manually register at each of the social bookmarking websites before submitting your articles for the first time, and this can be a bit time consuming. It took me about 2 hours the first time to browse through all of the bookmarking websites, find where to register, and verify my accounts. But once you do, it makes the actual act of social bookmarking much easier. However, I do wish that whoever created this tool would update it once in a while. Since the actual act of bookmarking only takes a few seconds, I tend to bookmark on as many sites as possible, regardless of whether the sites are do-follow or not. (I think there is still value in bookmarking on a no-follow site, since people can still manually click on your links get directed to your article). Unfortunately, SocialMarker.com includes quite a few outdated websites that no longer accept new bookmarks. But I suppose you can’t really complain about service when the product is completely free.
